Course Offerings

Freshman
Students participate in a variety of activities, which include: bashball, basketball, flag football, iceless hockey, physical fitness, soccer and volleyball. Emphasis is placed on participation, team work,respect for others and self, along with the physical, emotional, andsocial benefits of exercise and team play. Freshmen also have a semester health component in the class.

Sophomore, Junior and Senior
Students participate in activities, which include: bashball, basketball, cycling, flag football, fuzzball, iceless hockey, jogging, roller blading, soccer, volleyball, and wiffleball. More freedom is available in regard to the students' election of activities during the year.

Beginning Strength Training / Sophomore year
Students meet two days per week and engage in a strength training program based on the principles of the "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" program, which is the curriculum for Physical Education weight classes. "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" is a nationally recognized program that emphasizes a total body workout through stretching, weight lifting, agility drills and plyometrics.

Advanced Strength Training / Junior & Senior years
Students meet two days per week. The strength training program for Juniors and Seniors is based on the "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" program. However, the students are given more freedom to explore more personal preferences in regard to their own training program.
