Freshmen
Over the course of the year, the counseling department works with students and parents to assist in the success of the student. To find out more about the schedule planned for the freshman year, please read the information that is broken down by quarter.
1st Quarter
- Freshmen take a battery of personality, learning, and interest inventories in the first week
- Senior Advisors meet with freshmen to continue orientation
2nd Quarter
- Parent/Student/Counselor conferences begin in November to review surveys on learning style, personality style and progress thus far at SLUH
- Senior Advisors continue to meet with freshmen
3rd Quarter
- No scheduled guidance activities
4th Quarter
- Individual student/counselor meeting for course scheduling
