“Tradition Never Graduates" is a motto that applies not only to St. Louis University High School, but particularly to its athletic program. Over the years, SLUH has created a storied athletic program, one marked by significant achievement and, above all, an affirmation of Ignatian values (see Athletics Mission & Philosophy).

**Chris Zandstra Passes Away Sept. 2nd**
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our dear friend, and student Sophomore Chris Zandstra passed away in his sleep early Sunday morning Sept. 2nd.
Chris was a member of the SLUH sophomore class, a member of the SLUH varsity football support staff and a member of the SLUH tennis team.
Chris battled cancer for most of his sixteen years and was an inspiration to thousand of people.
Chris' life was one of love and complete trust in God. He was a living example that there are saints and angels that walk among us.
His sense of humor and infectous smile will be missed by many.
Thank you Chris for blessing us,and being part of our lives. SLUH needed you - more than you needed SLUH.
We miss you and love you. Pray for us Chris.
