Cruisin' Past Cleveland
The Jr. Bills steamrolled to a 17-0 victory against visiting Cleveland. Sophomore Joe Schwarz sparkled on the mound today, hurling 5 innings of 1-hit baseball with 9 strikeouts. With the Jr. Bills shuffling the lineup, contributions were coming from everywhere. Freshman Griffin Lowry continued his personal vendetta against the baseball with a laser over the centerfielder's head and cruised into home on a throwing error. Sophomore Stephen Clark had a great day defensively as well as going 3 for 4 and scoring one run. The Jr. Bills are 2-0, looking very promising, and are excited about the upcoming battle against rival DeSmet on April 5th.
