SLUH Defeats Priory and Improves to 6-2
SLUH started out with a little scare, going down 2-0 after the top of the third. After the slow start, the Jr. Bills buckled down and scored 12 unanswered runs. Pitcher Brian Kinealy had a brilliant performance on the mound, only giving up four hits and recording 6 strikeouts. As for the offense, sophomores Pat Roy and Steve Marincel led the way with 3 RBI’s a piece. Following this victory, the Jr. Bills’ record moved to 6-2. SLUH will endeavor to stay at the two loss mark as they go into a challenging week, playing four games in as many days. The week starts out on Monday against Rockwood Summit at 4:15 at Forest Park field #1.
