Down to the Wire - Jr. Bills Close the Door on Last Inning Rally and Defeat Rockwood Summit 6-5
The Jr. Bills win yet another game in comeback fashion, as they recovered from being down 2-0 after the third inning. Pitcher Ben Kraemer battled a potent Rockwood Summit lineup, giving up 1 earned run in his six innings of work. The lefties in the lineup, Jeff Brand and Ryan McReynolds, delivered by getting extra base hits late in the game and each driving in big runs. Pat Roy went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and a run scored. Jeff Brand came in to close the game out on the mound. Jeff was able to get a ground ball in which Clint Wobbe and Ryan McReynolds were able to turn into a splendid double play. The Jr. Bills' record moves to 7-2 after this victory.
