No Spark Against Rival Spartans
On Monday, the Jr. Bills lost to DeSmet for the second time this year. Just like in the first game, SLUH’s pitching was unable to contain the bats of the Spartans. DeSmet scored in every inning with the exception of one, giving them a total of 16 runs on 11 hits. The bats of the Jr. Bills were lifeless except for the 4th inning, in which the Bills were able to get all of their four runs of the game. Freshman Christian Stark led the team with two triples and two RBI’s. After this loss, the Jr. Bills’ record moves to 8-4 on the year.
