SLUH Can't Contain Cadets
The Jr. Bills sought for their revenge for the tough loss they had against rival CBC earlier in the year. Unfortunately, they may need to wait until next year for payback seeing that they lost 7-1 at Cadet Park. Ben Kraemer had four excellent innings pitched in which he had only given up 2 runs, but he struggled in the 5th. After Ben let 4 of 5 batters reach base, Brian Kinealy came in to stop the bleeding. He surrendered a few more runs in the process, but was able to pitch his way out of the jam. SLUH was able to get a hit in every inning but one; however they could not string any together in order to manufacture some runs. Following this loss, the Jr. Bills’ record goes to 8-5 on the year and 2-4 in the MCC standings.
