Varsity goes 1-2 over Spring Break
The Varsity Inline team suffered two losses in a row, before rebounding last night against Lindbergh. The team suffered from missing players over spring break, which led to a two-game losing streak. However, with most of the team back from spring break on Saturday, the team rebounded with a commanding victory over Lindbergh High School. The varsity's record also rebounded to back above .500 as the team looks to take some winning momentum into next weekend's matchup against Fort Zumwalt West, one of the top team's in the conference.
Varsity suffers first lost
The varsity inline hockey team lost their first game of the year against St. Charles West. SLUH and St. Charles went back-and forth all night in a high scoring game. SLUH ended the first half with a 4-2 lead, but gave up 2 quick goals at the beginning of the second half to even the score. SLUH was a goal down with 45 secs left when they pulled their goalie, but was unable to generate a scoring chance with the extra attacker, as St. Charles was able to put in the empty netter with 3 secs in the game. Varsity will next play Windsor on Thursday night.

Looking for help
The Inline Hockey Club has a parents' board that assists the organization with the banquet and, when needed, the financial decisions of the organization. It is comprised of a parent from each grade level. Currently, we are looking for volunteers to fill the junior, sophomore, and freshmen positions. If anyone is interesting in helping out, please contact Mr. Tim O'Neil or Jeanne Place, Treasurer. Thanks,
Practice Times
All practices will be held at Queeny this year.
Varisty Wins First Game
Backed by a strong performance by goaltender, Mark Anderson, and an offensive explosion by Chris Place, the varsity team defeated Affton 4-2 in their first game of the season. Place, who lead the team with 3 goals and an assist provided all the necessary offense to secure victory. Dan Pecher scored the first goal of the season (a feat he has done twice in a row) while Ryan Boschert and Matt Beezley also added assists.
