The varsity season opens with the Gateway Invitational held at Washington University's track. While this is a varsity only meet, we are allowed up to 4 entries per event.

Gateway Invitational
The varsity track and field team had a successful start of the 2007 season by finishing second of 21 scoring teams at the Gateway Invitational. Niko Mafuli won the shot put competition with a throw of 53' 11", Ronnie Wingo won the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.88, and the 4X100 meter relay team finished first with a time of 43.45.
