2007 JV Water Polo
Chaminade
Playing their second game in as many days, the Jr. Bills overcame a sluggish first quarter to pull away from the Flyers for a 9-4 victory.
SLUH began the second half with a 0-1 deficit but put away 5 goals in the 2nd and never looked back. Steve Sigman returned to action after a 2-game layoff and shook off the dust, putting home 2 goals. Classmate Will Derdeyn continued his recent offensive outburst with 2 G and an assist, with both of his goals coming at important parts of the game.
SLUH continued to use its defense to lead to offense, again anchored by some usual suspects: guards Nick Debandt, Derdeyn, Trent Going, & Dan Goeddel, and goalies Matt Hohenberger & Dylan Jungels.
