2008 JV Water Polo
Parkway South (Semifinals)
The Jr. Bills returned to competitive play after an extremely long 15 day layoff to face off against the Patriots of Parkway South in the semi-finals of the Suburban Central Conference Championship.
The long gap between games showed throughout, as the Jr. Bills looked a stroke or two slower than normal against a deep South team. However, after surrendering the game's first goal, the Jr. Bills fired off 10 of the next 11 goals to finish with a convincing victory and a berth in the finals on Friday (6:15pm @ Ladue). The game was highlighted by John Lewis’ first-quarter backhand, and Edward “Eddie” Harris’ first goal of the season, which earned him POTG honors.
