SLUH 'B' Captures 5th in DeSmet Invite
Congratulations to JV regulars Dan Goeddel, Rob Golterman, and Daniel Pike (sophomores), and freshman John Lewis on their 5th place finish at the highly-competitive DeSmet Invitational over the weekend. All 4 were contributors to the team's stellar effort.
After near misses to DeSmet & Marquette -- the 2nd & 3rd place finishers in the tournament -- on Thursday and Friday, the team had a perfect Saturday, defeating Lafayette & MICDS in pool play, then winning a 9-7 thriller against Lindbergh, ranked 4th in the most recent Coaches' Poll, for 5th.
Congratulations also to SLUH 'A' for capturing the championship. It was a great weekend to be a fan of SLUH water polo indeed!
