Alums Victorious Again!
The Alums guaranteed themselves a victory in the 2007 Alumni Race by taking the first three places on Saturday, August 11, at the Central Fields in Forest Park. The 2007 edition of SLUH XC placed runners in fourth through eighth but the alums took ninth and tenth to finish with 25 points vs the 2007 team's 30 point total. The 2007 individual champion was Ben Rosario, '98, who completed the 2 mile run in 9:54. John Oliver, '04, was second in a time of 10:12 and Matt Lawder, '07, was third in a time of 10:25. The top seven for the 2007 SLUH XC team were Caleb Ford, So, 4th, 10:39; Chris Murphy, Sr, 5th, 10:41; Bill Gabler, So, 6th, 10:43; David Kuciejczyk-Kernan, Jr, 7th, 10:44; Austin Cookson, Jr, 8th, 10:55; Ben Ford, So, 11th, 11:04; and Casey Fitzgerald, So, 18th, 11:17.
