Longbills Finish 11th at State, Capture 6th Straight MCC Title

The SLUH Swimming & Diving team finished their season with a strong 11th place finish at the State competition, following their continued streak of dominance in conference competition, coming up with its 6th straight MCC title.

Team Selects Captains, Continues Pre-season Training

The Swimming & Diving team selected its captains on Wednesday, Aug. 15. The captains are selected annually by the team members and are chosen from the senior class members who have been on the team at least 1 year. Tim Dale, Michael Sizemore, Kip Tandler, and Max Wurm were chosen from a large senior class. The captains will provide leadership throughout the year to the record-sized group of swimmers & divers for the 2007 campaign.

Varsity Wins 5th Consecutive MCC Championship

A season full of hard work came to a head on Friday evening at the Chaminade natatorium. Despite having no event wins, the St. Louis U. High swimming & diving team won an unprecedented 5th consecutive MCC Championship.

Team Captures JV MCC Championship

Congratulations to the JV team for a fantastic victory at the JV MCC Championships, held on Saturday, 10/28/06. The victory marks the second consecutive MCC crown for the JV squad and proves once again that the SLUH swim team is among the deepest in the city and even the state.
