Varsity Baseball Advances to Final 8
The varsity baseball team advanced to the Final 8 of the Missouri Class 4A State Championships. The team was defeated by Hazelwood Central. Along the way, SLUH captured its 15 consecutive District Championship (18th in the last 27 years), and the Sectional Championship. The Sectional Championship came against Webster Groves as Tony Bertucci hurled his second no-hitter of the season. It was the 11th Sectional Championship. The team finished with an 18-11 record and a spot in the Top 15 Final Rankings of the Post Dispatch.
