Disney Club
Moderator:
Mrs. Helen McCormack
Purpose:
This club will allow those SLUH students who have an innate love for
Disney movies to express that passion. Some students have idolized Walt
Disney and his companions ever since that first time their parents
showed them Lion King, Hercules, or Aristocats. However, Disney has been
portrayed as childish, especially among the teenage age group. This
club hopes to destroy that stereotype. Walt Disney was a genius. Those
who followed and worked for Walt Disney took after his example and were
also geniuses. Our goal is to help his wonderful legacy live on. We want
to show the people of SLUH just how great Disney is. We want to make
Disney even more popular than it is.
