"DEFEND THE TRADITION"

Track and Field at St. Louis U. High is an extension of our school community. Our team aims to embody its highest ideals and values.

Track & Field at SLUH is about more than winning. It is a part of our spiritual life, a way to honor God, a part of the way in which we are striving to become better human beings. We recognize that it is a gift to be able to compete and share the experience of athletic competition and training with a team. We approach everything we do in a spirit of gratitude to God who gave us our gifts, to our parents and families, to our teammates, to our coaches, and to past athletes in the SLUH Track & Field program.

It is with much sadness that we pass along MSHSAA's message that they are cancelling the spring sport season in light of Governor Parson's announcement. MSHSAA's full announcement can be found here. Although sad, the coaches are thankful that the state has recognized the severity of this pandemic and if we lose a season so that lives can be saved, we must be thankful for that. We are very thankful for the time that you put into workouts as that work is humbling for us as coaches to see. We believe that one's true character is revealed under the toughest circumstances. I am proud of the young men we have in this program.
