The SLUH senior class learned some important lessons in January, even though they did not attend any classes. Just as importantly, they made an impact on the community – local and abroad – by participating in a 39-year-old tradition known as Senior Project.
Each year, SLUH seniors put aside their academic studies for the month to work full-time as community volunteers as part of Senior Project. The experience is an attempt to help them become more sensitive and responsive to the needs of others, kindling in them understanding, hope, compassion and faith.
