SLUH Announces AP Scholars

The academic excellence at St. Louis University High School continues today through a challenging curriculum, committed faculty and high student achievement. As a testament to the school’s rich academic heritage, 137 students have been recognized as AP Scholars this year based on their AP scores on all the exams they have taken to date.

"Every educator in this school should be proud of the work we do to prepare our students for this kind of success," says Mark Michalski, Assistant Principal for Academics. "Moreover, we are proud of all of our students who continue to improve and achieve their potential in the classroom."

The following provides a summary of those students who have been recognized as AP Scholars:

AP Scholars - Students who have achieved scores of 3 or higher on 3 or more AP exams.
SLUH students recognized as AP Scholars: 47
Average overall number of AP Scholars 2003-2005: 135,102

AP Scholars with Honor - Students with an average AP score of 3.25 or higher on all exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on 4 or more exams.
SLUH students recognized as AP Scholars with Honor: 34
Average overall number of AP Scholars with Honor 2003-2005: 40,074

AP Scholars with Distinction - Students with an average AP score of 3.5 or higher on all exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on 5 or more exams.
SLUH students recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction: 52
Average overall number of AP Scholars with Distinction 2003-2005: 48,735

AP National Scholars - US students who have averaged 4.0 or better on all exams taken and scores of 4 or higher on 8 or more exams.
SLUH students recognized as AP National Scholars: 4
Average overall number of AP National Scholars 2003-2005: 5,220
