Special Schedule - Monday, February 26
On Monday, February 26 and Friday, April 20, SLUH will experiment with special school day schedules as part of a broader data collection effort to help formulate possible responses to the upcoming Highway 40/64 construction project.
Monday's schedule will shift Activity Period, which is typically the third period of the day, to the last period of the day. Students who do not have mandatory meetings or activities during Activity Period will be allowed to leave campus after the 7th period at 2:16 pm. Because students may be leaving campus at different times, those who rely on carpools should confirm these arrangements before Monday.
Freshmen will be required to remain in school for a class meeting during Activity Period and other students may have mandatory meetings or activities during this time. Athletic tryouts and practices will not begin until after 3:00 pm. SLUH faculty members will maintain regular Activity Period prefecting duties and will be available to students through at least 3:00 pm.
The special schedule for Friday, April 20 will shift Activity Period to the first period of the day. More details about the April schedule will be mailed home to parents with third quarter report cards.
