SLUH Places Second Nationally in Physics Bowl
As a team, St. Louis University High School placed first in the region, consisting of several Midwestern states, and second nationally in the 2007 Physics Bowl, sponsored by the American Association of Physics Teachers. Individually, junior Michael Baumer placed first in the region and tied for second on the national level.
This year more than 5,700 students participated from more than 270 schools all across the country and Canada in the competition. Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Illinois barely topped SLUH 127-126 for the national title.
