Students Earn Extraordinary AP Scores

This year St. Louis University High School gave 766 Advanced Placement (AP) exams – 43 more than last year and the most the school has ever given – to 356 students, and the results were impressive. The scores on 89 percent of those exams were 3 or higher, and 4 or higher on 62 percent of the exams.

"Our students continue to excel and set the bar higher year after year," says Mark Michalski, Assistant Principal for Academics. "The relationship between our faculty and students, coupled with the quality of our program, contributes to the success of our students."

The College Board's AP Program offers students the opportunity to take challenging college-level courses while still in high school, and to receive college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. A score of 3 or higher is widely accepted for full college credit for that course.
