Junior Wins SLU Competition
Junior Chad Carson recently earned first place in a competition hosted by Saint Louis University for up-and-coming entrepreneurs. The competition was part of an intensive, multi-day program at SLU’s John Cook School of Business focused on innovation, as well as the practical steps needed in jumpstarting a business.
Twenty high school students from the St. Louis metropolitan area gathered to learn about entrepreneurship through hands-on experimental learning, interacting with St. Louis entrepreneurs, touring a local business incubator, and team-building exercises. The program culminated with a business idea competition.
Carson was part of a two-person team, earning first place for their business idea, Keystone Musical Services, a teaching and merchandising service for music lessons.
