Football Team Wins in Record Fashion
St. Louis University High School fans came to watch a football game, and a track meet broke out. On Friday, October 3rd the Jr. Bills varsity football team defeated Vianney 63-42 at home, and in the process eight school records were set. Senior running back Ronnie Wingo blazed past the Griffins’ defense to score seven touchdowns and set an astonishing five individual records.
"It was an outstanding night for Ronnie Wingo and the Jr. Bills," says coach Gary Kornfeld. "I am sure Ronnie would be the first to credit the offensive line and the receivers for their excellent blocking. Ronnie has to be the most dangerous high school football player around."
