Footballbills Advance to Quarterfinals
The Jr. Billikens football team came out on top 42-35 in an offensive match with Vianney on Friday, November 3rd to catapult them into the quarterfinal round of state playoff contention. SLUH led 26-21 at halftime and clinched the game in the fourth quarter with a 67-yard touchdown run from sophomore running back standout Ronnie Wingo.Wingo showcased his speed, agility and talent throughout the game with 293 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback John Swanston completed 14 of 22 passes for 195 yards and four touchdowns, and receiver Eric Devlin caught seven passes for 106 yards and four touchdowns.
