UltimateFrisbeeBills Place 3rd in State
The SLUH Ultimate Frisbee team capped their 16-5 record this season with a third-place finish in the state tournament May 1-2 in Cottleville, Mo. The Jr. Billikens played seven games in the two-day tournament, earning a 4-3 record.The UltimateFrisbeeBills' season was highlighted by a 3-0 performance at the Chicago Invite Tournament, a 3-1 record at the SLUJ (St. Louis Ultimate Juniors) Tournament, and stellar individual and team play.
"Each player improved greatly, and it took the talents of both underclassmen and upperclassmen to have such a terrific season," says coach Eric Weiss ’03.
Weiss led the team along with coaches Matt Pitlyk ’02 and Matt Hubbard ’07.
