Inline Hockey Starts Strong
The SLUH inline hockey team won the Varsity-2 bracket of the MOIHA Preseason Breakout Tournament, which took place over Presidents' Day Weekend. This preseason tournament, held annually by the Missouri Inline Hockey Association, is the first chance for teams to showcase their talent for the upcoming season.
The Jr. Billikens went 3-1 in the round-robin portion of the tournament to secure the #2 seed, and then 2-0 in the elimination round to secure their first tournament win. They defeated Fort Zumwalt South in the finals by the score of 3-1 to capture the title.
