Impressive Soccerbills Take Another Tournament
St. Louis University High School’s varsity soccer team, recently ranked third in the nation, defeated Chaminade 2-0 on September 23rd at the Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park in Fenton in the final game of the CYC Tournament.Andy Weis grabbed the team’s first goal in the opening half, and Chris Haffner earned the insurance goal in the final seconds of the game to secure the victory. The team defeated CBC 2-0 the previous evening in the semifinal match. SLUH, which won the CBC Tournament earlier this month, remains undefeated at 14-0.
