Eight Seniors Sign Letters of Intent
Eight Jr. Billikens continued the proud tradition of athletics at St. Louis U. High on February 1 by signing letters of intent to continue their athletic careers through college. They participated in National Signing Day in the Danis Field House.
Bill George: A Poetic Retrospective
This past semester, longtime SLUH English teacher Bill George stepped down because of health problems. In addition to his many other endeavors at SLUH, George was also a poet. After his time as a moderator for SLUH’s literary magazine Sisyphus, he continued his relationship with the publication as a contributor.
Statue Moves to Main Entrance
The statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola, a landmark at SLUH for the past 30 years, has been relocated from outside the school’s central corridor to the main entrance. This relocation coincides with final preparations being made for the newly renovated main entrance and Si Commons, which will be ready for use the third week in February.

During January, the Class of 2012 assisted the elderly, the handicapped, the poor and others by contributing more than 30,000 service hours as part of Senior Project. They served at 75 sites locally and beyond in Honduras and the Philippines.
Students March for Life
