FATHERS’ CLUB FUNDRAISING EFFORT
In an effort to support the SLUH students, the Fathers’ Club is embarking on a yearly fundraising program to purchase a specific item for the school. This year, we are selling moisture-wicking polo shirts, embroidered with the SLUH Fathers’ Club logo. The proceeds from the shirt sales will go toward the purchase of a large SLUH spirit flag to be used at sporting events and pep rallies. Shirts will be ordered on a monthly basis, and when your order is completed, it will be delivered to your son’s homeroom. FATHER/SON REC NIGHT
Join us on Mon., Feb. 20th, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., in the Danis Field House for an evening of friendly competition and entertainment for SLUH dads and sons. No r.s.v.p. necessary! Snacks and drinks provided. Events Include: Basketball, Rifle Range, Putting, Pool, Football Toss, Foosball, Washers, Fast Pitch Radar Gun, and our 3rd Annual Dodgeball Tournament (there will be prizes!) Make sure to register your dodgeball team in advance to reserve your spot! Please e-mail cleinauer@sluh.org with your team name and your dad captain’s name. (Teams consist of 8 dad/son players or a maximum of 10.) Walk-ons will be accepted the night of the tournament on a first come/first serve basis!
FATHER/SON BANQUET
This year’s banquet will be held on Sunday, March 11th, in the brand new SI COMMONS! Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 5:15 p.m. in the SLUH Chapel for those wishing to attend. Cost for the evening will be $30.00 a person, which includes a buffet dinner and drinks, musical entertainment by the SLUH Jazz Band, a Special Guest Speaker - Mr. Dan Flynn, CEO and Secretary General of the U.S. Soccer Federation, and SLUH Class of ’73, and both attendance and raffle prizes! Don’t miss this fun opportunity to spend an evening with your son(s)! Attire for this event will be coat and tie. FATHER/SON GOLF TOURNAMENT
Fathers and sons are invited for fun and friendly competition at the annual golf tournament on Saturday, June 16 at the Forest Park Golf Course. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun at 7:30 a.m. Download the flyer below for further details and registration information (online registration will be available shortly).

Background
Originally known as the 
"St. Louis U. High Club," the Fathers' Club at SLUH began in 1938 to support school activities. The organization played a large role in construction of the basement recreation room and the first major addition to the school plant. It also helped bring about parking lots, locker room renovation and the library. Today, the Fathers' Club offers a number of opportunities for fathers of current students to become partners with SLUH in the development of their sons.
