Where am I?
We are . . . Moms for Others
A Note from the President:
The holidays are fast approaching and SLUH Mothers' Club has many ways to make them richer! Click HERE to see all our upcoming events in our November/December newsletter.
If you are feeling the desire to share what you have this season, see the section that tells you what small gifts to send in between Nov. 18-22 for Loyola Academy middle school boys to purchase for their families at greatly reduced rates, or the section for our school-wide homeroom adoption of needy families through Adopt-A-Family Drive, running Nov. 22-Dec. 6. If you are feeling the desire to shop, see the section about SLUHtique, featuring over 60 area vendors on Nov. 24th (admission is free), or the section about the Billiken Christmas Shop open on Dec. 4-5.
And, if you are feeling a desire to pray, see the section about Advent Adoration, running Dec. 2-19.
So many ways to celebrate our blessings!
Loyola Santa Shop
Please help the Loyola Academy kids Christmas shop by donating new items for the boys to purchase for their loved ones. Donate through the receptionist or your son's homeroom before November 22nd. Please clearly mark items for "Loyola Santa Shop". We will transport your gifts to Loyola, drastically reduce the price, and help them choose items to give to their families. Sports equipment, toys, board games, purses, wallets, men's watches, small appliances, and more can make this an amazing Christmas for a young man who gets to surprise his family members with a thoughtful gift. Please see the attached FLYER for details. Contact Karen Gibbons at (314) 973-4770 or email@example.com with any questions.

Adopt-A-Family Drive – November 22- December 6
Our final All-School drive of the year is the Adopt-A-Family drive! In the spirit of Advent, we are inviting each homeroom to adopt eight people. A Sign-Up Genius link to your son's homeroom will be emailed out to all students and parents on November 22. We encourage each person to sign up for one or more item(s). All items for this drive must be NEW. Please label the item(s) with the "listed name", family name or number, and homeroom number. Students will bring the labeled items to the old cafeteria during homeroom. Items should be purchased and brought to SLUH byFriday, December 6. If you have difficulty signing up for your items, please contact your homeroom parent representative. We are also in need of boxes that are suitable in size for packing paper goods and toiletry items as well as gift boxes of all sizes, especially shirt boxes.

The Mothers' Club at SLUH began in 1927 to help raise funds to repair tornado damage from that year. Since then, the organization has continued to be of vital service to SLUH. Through a variety of social, spiritual and fundraising activities, the Mothers' Club provides an excellent opportunity for mothers of current students to partner with SLUH in the development of their sons. Above all, the organization helps make SLUH feel like home to its young men.
Please note that moving forward all mailings will be sent electronically to SLUH moms. An e-mail will be sent with a link to each mailing in the Mothers' Club section of the Web site. To submit your e-mail address to the database, send it to email@example.com.
