Jr. Retreats
The Juniors have an option of selecting from 4 pre-arranged retreats. Junior retreat is not a requirement but is strongly encouraged and is always found to be a moving and profound experience. Retreat options are as follows:

White House retreats are 3 day, 2 night retreats that are
faculty led. Students leave after school on a Monday and return by 3:00pm Wednesday (missing 2 days of school). Dates include for 2007-08:
November 19-21, 2007
January 21-23, 2008
February 11-13, 2008
There is also a longer, more intensive, student led retreat
in April known as the Junior Kairos Retreat. Traditionally this is held at Kings House Retreat Center and students leave on a Sunday evening and return the following Wednesday around 6pm. Three days of class time are missed for this retreat.

Sign-ups for retreat start in September, first come first serve. It is not uncommon for retreats to fill-up so signing up early is suggested. Students must sign-up in person with Mr. Stewart or Mr. Porter in the Pastoral Office.
Note: While retreats are subsidized by SLUH there still is a fee for participation. $100 helps to offset the lodging and food over the time spent at the centers.
