Jim Linhares has been a member of the St. Louis U. High faculty since 1983. He earned a B.A. in Theology and English from Saint Louis University and an M.A. in Religion and Religious Education from Fordham University, New York City. He taught theology for 26 years and served as Head Coach of the SLUH Cross Country and SLUH Track & Field teams.
He is currently the Assistant Principal for Mission. In addition to his work in Administration, he teaches the Humanities course in the theology department. He lives in Kirkwood, Missouri, with his wife, Mary, and his sons, Andrews '04, David '08, and Will '10.
The Assistant Principal for Mission is charged with the Administration's two broad areas of life at SLUH: Professional support for the teaching faculty and support for the Jesuit and Catholic identity of the school.
