SLUH Welcomes Middle School Students

As SLUH navigates these uncertain times, we are excited to offer several opportunities for middle-school students and families to experience our school this fall.

Jr. Billiken Immersion 2020

An on-campus experience exclusively for 8th-grade boys. The event will feature: four 15-minute mini-classes of freshmen core curriculum (Math, Science, English, Social Studies), Upward Bound activity with academic coaches, brief Examen of Consciousness (inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola), Student Ambassador small group chats, refreshments and an exclusive giveaway.  >>> Create a SLUH Admissions Account and register

On-Campus Inside SLUH Visits for 8th Graders

Inside SLUH provides prospective students and their parents the opportunity to tour our campus and experience what it's like to "walk the halls" as a Jr. Bill.  >>> Learn more and register

Virtual Shadow@SLUH Experiences for 8th Graders

While traditional, on-campus shadowing isn't possible now due to physical distancing mandates, SLUH is pleased to offer extracurricular-specific virtual shadow experiences for current 8th grade students to learn more about our school.  >>> Learn more and register

Virtual Group Inside SLUH Visits

Come inside SLUH virtually and "walk" our campus, peek into some of our classrooms, science labs and innovative learning spaces, and even catch a glimpse of our athletic facilities and some of our 90+ co-curricular clubs in action. We can schedule one family at a time.  >>> Learn more and register

A Message from Our Admissions Team

  1. Your family's health and well-being are the priority.  Safety protocols are in place to allow us to host families one at a time on campus for a tour and/or academic consultation. Appointments must be scheduled in advance. All visitors will be required to have their temperatures taken at check-in, wear a mask throughout their duration on campus and practice social distancing.
  2. We’re here. We’re available by phone and email as always. Don't hesitate to contact an admissions staff member with your inquiries. See contact details below.
  3. Connect. Virtual visit options will continue to be available for those who need them. We continue to develop new ideas to best show you SLUH through a different lens! You can connect with us when you are ready and when it makes sense for your family in a manner most convenient for you.
  4. Apply. Our webpage is being refreshed with more dynamic content and easy navigation so that you may engage in the admissions process at the time and place most convenient and safe for you.
