Photography
The Photography Club meets on Mondays after school in the Photography Room, on the 2nd floor of the J-wing, next to the Prep News office. The club owns several Canon digital cameras and lenses, and other photographic equipment. We have the ability to take quality photos of theatrical productions, Masses, sports, and other events. All students are welcome to join the Photography Club, regardless of photography experience. Training is provided and scheduled with Mrs. Kathy Chott, kchott@sluh.org.
Our photos are used in the yearbook The Dauphin, the student newspaper Prep News, this web site, and in the publications of Admissions, the President's Office and the Advancement Office. Our photos are displayed in the daily TV slideshows throughout the school campus. All SLUH students, staff, and faculty have access to, and can download, the photos that we place in our shared Google folder "Yearbook Photos."
If you are interested in the Photography Club, but have no experience with Digital Single Lens Reflex Cameras (DSLRs), please watch the videos in the link below to learn more about ISO, aperture, and shutter speed settings on a camera.
