Global Education

St. Louis U. High embraces a global education model that illuminates the vision of Ignatius. We do so because a globally conscious education is both vital to succeed in our modern world  of interdependence, diversity and rapid change, but also because it provides the knowledge and understanding of culture, language, and global perspectives needed to carry out our mission of reconciliation and justice. We ultimately aspire to molding the students of SLUH into Global Citizens who embody the Ignatian Definition of Global Citizenship:

Global Citizens are those who continuously seek to deepen their awareness of their place and responsibility in an increasingly interconnected world, both locally and globally; those who stand in solidarity with others in the pursuit of a sustainable earth and a more humane world as true companions in the mission of reconciliation and justice.

Global Senior Projects As part of our service program at SLUH, each year there are various global options that are offered as part of our Senior Project experience which all students participate in during their time at SLUH. Take a look at the options below, and fill out the Global Senior Project Program Application for any programs you are interested in participating in.  You can apply to multiple programs, but each program requires a separate application and statement of purpose. "Our students return from exchanges with not just a greater fluency in their language of study, but most importantly a true appreciation for another culture's point of view, the ability to see the world not just with our own eyes but through the eyes of another."
