South Africa Rhino Rescue

All SLUH students are eligible to travel to Johannesburg, South Africa to engage in a rhino rescue program with local game wardens and in country experts.  Students participate in the workings of local efforts to locate endangered rhino populations, remove their horns to deter poaching, and learn about various other aspects of ecological and sustainability focused movements. A cultural program is also included. 

Tentative 2024 dates: Saturday, March 9th to Tuesday, March 19th

Estimated program fees: $ 3,800 per student
