Tuition & Financial Aid

Please contact Mr. Craig Hannick, Director of Financial Aid at channick@sluh.org with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your tuition for the 2020-21 school year.

We believe Jesuit education should be available to talented students from all financial backgrounds. At SLUH, we admit students based on their ability to succeed, rather than their families' economic circumstances.

AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FUTURE

The knowledge and experiences gained over four years at SLUH, as well as the relationships developed, set the foundation for a bright future. A SLUH education is an investment in your future.

2020-21 Annual Tuition $18,000
Payment plans are available.

The actual cost to educate each SLUH student is significantly higher; however, generous alumni and benefactors help bridge the gap and ensure a SLUH education is accessible to as many young men as possible. Learn more.

SLUH ENSURES ACCESSIBILITY

SLUH makes every effort to assist families who demonstrate financial eligibility, the calculated measure of a family’s need for financial assistance. Besides income (taxable and non-taxable), we take into account assets, expenses, liabilities, and the number of children attending Catholic schools (K-12). Furthermore, we encourage families to bring any special circumstances to our attention.

Financial aid applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Each student award decision is unique.

Financial assistance by the numbers

  • $4.4 million in 2020-21 Financial Aid Awards
  • Over four in ten young men receive aid
  • Awards range from $1,000 to full tuition
  • Average award of $9,800.

Work Grant Program

All recipients participate in the work grant program.
