Our tradition has been, and our vision remains, that Jesuit education be available to talented students from all financial backgrounds.
At St. Louis University High School, we admit students based on their ability to succeed, rather than their economic circumstances.
AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FUTURE
The knowledge and experiences gained over four years at SLUH, as well as the relationships developed, set the foundation for a bright future. A SLUH education is an investment in your future.
2017-18 Annual Tuition $16,800
Payment plans are available.
The actual cost to educate each SLUH student is $18,961. Donations to SLUH by generous benefactors help bridge the gap.
SLUH ENSURES ACCESSIBILITY
SLUH makes every effort to assist families who demonstrate financial eligibility, the calculated measure of a family’s need for financial assistance. Besides income (taxable and non-taxable), we take into account assets, expenses, liabilities, and the number of children attending Catholic schools (K-12). Furthermore, we encourage families to bring any special circumstances to our attention.
Financial assistance by the numbers
- $4.1 million in 2017-18 Financial Aid Awards
- Approximately four in ten young men receive aid
- Awards range from $1,000 to full tuition
- Average award of $9,330
Financial aid applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Each student award decision is unique. All recipients participate in the work grant program.
