Season Recaps
The first SLUH Cross Country team competed in 1944. Clicking on a season pulls up meet results, team split sheets, Prep News stories, and even daily practice logs. Please report any broken links or issues to Coach Gilmore (bgilmore@sluh.org). Also, let him know if you have materials to add to any season's record.

Metro Catholic Conference Championships
SLUH is a member school of the Metro Catholic Conference (MCC). Since its formation in 1991, the MCC has been the athletic home of SLUH, De Smet, Vianney, CBC, and Chaminade. The MCC has offered Cross Country as an interscholastic activity since 1992. In the sport of cross country, SLUH has an unparalleled tradition of success against other MCC schools.
District Championship History
District is the one and only qualifying meet to advance to State. The margin for error is razor thin. Every Missouri school with a cross country team is eligible to compete at their District meet. Over 70 Class 5 schools (SLUH's class) compete at one of four district meets around the state. At each District, only the top four teams and individuals in the top 30 from non-advancing teams qualify to State. For anyone who doesn't make that cut, the season comes to a sudden end.
State Meet History
SLUH has a rich history of success at the Missouri State Cross Country meet. Of the approximately 70 Class 5 teams who enter the District meet, 16 teams qualify for State. Each year, a program goal of ours is to qualify as a team to compete in the State Championship, something we have been able to do every year consecutively since 1993.
Workout Records
We maintain team records for two staples of our program: 800-meter repeats and tempo runs.
