Congratulations to the program for another State qualification, an honor not to be taken lightly, and one that the team has earned annually since 1993. Bridle Ridge Acres in Hillsboro was a new course to us, and the week's rain prevented us from getting out to preview it in advance. Walking the course in the morning, it was clear that a narrow, windy, and muddy course awaited us. As the race unfolded, a trio of seniors with All-District First Team honors led the way, with Sean Kellogg in 3rd, Baker Pashea in 6th, and Grant Brawley in 7th. Justin Glass represented us on the All-District Second Team in 13th place. Tim Greiner was our fifth and final medalist, finishing in 26th place. Charlie Murray (32nd) and Joe LaBarge (33rd) helped cement our runner-up score of 54 by finishing in front of nearly every other team's fifth scoring runner.

Also, thanks to so many for making the trip to Hillsboro to cheer on the runners. That was awesome to see! Everyone on the team is part of the post-season success we find, and we should be very proud of our State qualification. Fourteen of the 18 teams in Hillsboro saw their seasons end yesterday. For SLUH XC, it is onward to State!
