Dear Friends of SLUH Rugby,
My name is Carl Kuebler and I help with parent coordination for the SLUH Rugby program. My son, David, is a senior and has played for four years at SLUH.
The program continues to be very successful and is strong with approximately 75 students participating in the program. We had a very successful 2023 season that included our three-peat as State Champions and multiple players continuing to play year-round in 7s, be selected to play abroad for USA Panthers, and alumni and coaches making MLR teams. We are preparing now for hosting our 3rd All-Catholic Rugby Festival before we travel to the Gonzaga tournament in DC, State, and hopefully the opportunity to play at Nationals.
The St. Louis University High School Third Annual All-Catholic Rugby Festival is the weekend of March 23rd- 24th. The event is fast approaching and we are reaching out to our rugby community (current and alumni) to invite you to be a part of the weekend's activities as a spectator, volunteer, or partner to help promote and assist with the sustainability of our program. The tournament continues to grow and this year we have 7 teams participating (~325 players and coaches) with six teams travelling from out of town (Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin) and media coverage by Alex Goff. Our goal is hospitality, fun and to showcase SLUH’s dedication to the Rugby Program and the development of rugby in the St Louis area.
Alumni and parent support of the program and tournament has been outstanding and we hope to continue that this year. Please consider supporting the program whether financially, as a volunteer or as a spectator. All are welcome to come. Saturday games will begin around 9am and end around 4:30pm. On Sunday games will begin around 9am and end around 1pm.

- Partnership of $500 or more will receive all the above plus a visit with SLUH's Rugby Director in the press box, and of course, a special place in our hearts.
