Fund the Number Program

Dear Fellow Water Polo alumni,

Last year’s Fund the Number program was a great success. We were happy to have helped raise money for the SLUH Annual Fund effort, but were more excited about reconnecting with so many former water polo players in meaningful ways. It’s why we’re excited to be offering the program once again this year.

If you’re new to the program, here’s how it works: just make a donation at www.sluh.org/donate of $25 or more to the Annual Fund and include “Water Polo Fund the Number” and your cap number in the COMMENTS box.

To thank you for your contribution to SLUH and to keep you connected to the Water Polo program, the student-athlete that is wearing your number this year will write you an update of the season at least twice during the year (as a reminder, water polo is now a Spring sport, so you won’t receive anything until around March 2017). Additionally a sign – similar to the one from last season, pictured above – with all the names of the Fund the Number donors will hang at our home pool at Forest Park CC during the season as a reminder to the team that tradition never graduates.

We are tremendously blessed to be a part of this incredible program at SLUH. We hope you will join us in giving back to the program that has meant so much to so many people through the years.

Finally, we hope that you will find time to come out to a game this year. Our schedule is still being finalized, but will be posted as soon as it is available on this new Athletics website..
