Pastoral Teams are divided by grade level and meet once a week to build community, plan upcoming liturgies and special events, learn about upcoming opportunities that relate to faith and justice, and engage in basic faith sharing. Each Pastoral Team is moderated by a different Campus Minister. Pastoral Teams meet during lunch periods in Campus Ministry.

At the start of each school year, we train and commission interested seniors to serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion for Masses at SLUH. Seniors interested in this opportunity should contact Mr. Justin Kelley, SJ (jkelley@sluh.org) in Campus Ministry.

Students are involved in music for all our Masses. They may participate in the liturgical choir for class-level Masses, all-school prayer services, all-school Masses, and weekend family Masses. Interested students from any grade level should contact Mr. Brian Gilmore (bgilmore@sluh.org) in Campus Ministry. 

One of the many ways that SLUH students participate in Mass is by acting as servers. If any student is interested in serving (whether you have serving experience or not), contact Mr. Justin Kelley, SJ (jkelley@sluh.org) in Campus Ministry. 

Students take active roles as lectors at SLUH Masses. For class and all-school Masses, lectors are typically chosen from the pastoral teams. If any student is interested in lectoring at daily Mass before school, contact Mr. Brian Gilmore (bgilmore@sluh.org) in Campus Ministry and we schedule you for a date of your choosing.
