Update as of February 26
Winter Sports
Basketball
The varsity basketball squad fell to McCluer North in the district semifinals after winning its opening round game in the district tournament, defeating Ritenour by a score of 54-37. In addition to the annual MLK Shootout, the basketball program hosted its first-ever Christmas tournament – the 2018 Legends of Winter Roundball Classic – and was selected by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame to host a one-day event showcasing boys and girls teams from various regions of Missouri.
Ice Hockey
Varsity ice hockey emerged from the regular season as the #1 seed for the 2019 Challenge Cup playoffs. The defending Challenge Cup champions enter next weekend's game two of the semifinal series against Kirkwood with a 25-4-2 record. A win or a tie in the second semifinal would earn the varsity team a return trip to the Enterprise Center for the championship game on March 13.
Racquetball
The varsity and JV1 racquetball squads completed the 2018-19 regular season season with unblemished 10-0 records to record another set of league championships. The teams followed this impeccable regular season performance by securing respective state championships this past weekend. The two squads aim for the trifecta as the St. Louis area hosts the National High School Racquetball Championships this coming weekend.
Riflery
The Rifle Bills traveled home from Nashville two weekends ago having recorded a sweep of national powers Montgomery Bell Academy and Harpeth Hall. The team then traveled to Ozark HS for the Missouri championships and returned with a state title! The team's score of 2310 at the state event automatically qualifies them for nationals in June. The team will compete in regionals in late March prior to heading to nationals. Seniors Adam Stemmler, Hayden Steingruby and Jack Doyle have each received invitations to compete in the Junior Olympics in April in Colorado Springs.
Wrestling
With four individual weight class championships at the JV MCC Championships and a 3rd-place team finish at the varsity MCC Championships, the wrestling program made strides this winter. The program also served as host for the Class 4, District 1 wrestling tournament. The Danis Field House served as an ideal host venue and a huge thank you goes to Head Coach Rob Nahlik '03 and former coach Jon Ott, as well as current members of the program and a host of volunteers who helped to run a successful event.

Coach Tom Wilson will remain with the program as the C-team coach.
