Kaleb King ‘13 Named New Head Baseball Coach

St. Louis University High has announced that Kaleb King ‘13 will serve in the new role of varsity baseball head coach, effective immediately. King brings critical experience as a player and assistant coach in the SLUH baseball program – and as an NCAA Division I baseball player – to his leadership role.

“SLUH is thrilled that Kaleb emerged from a strong group of applicants and has agreed to serve as the next leader of our baseball program,” says SLUH Athletic Director Chris Muskopf ‘91. “In his time as a student-athlete and as an assistant coach in our program, Kaleb has exhibited passion for the sport of baseball and for the SLUH program. He possesses a deep appreciation for the SLUH mission and intends to prioritize building relationships with players and within our school community as a means to enhance the culture within our baseball program.”

King was a three-year varsity starter at SLUH under coach Steve Nicollerat before attending Middle Tennessee State University where he played four years of Division I baseball. In addition to his career as a player, King also brings a depth of coaching experience to his new role, including a three-year stint as assistant coach at SLUH.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to be the head coach at St. Louis U. High,” says King. “SLUH is a special place has done wonders for my life. I’m looking forward to being part of that journey with many Jr. Bill student-athletes.”
