Attire: Festive & Fun

Purpose: The second Friday in December, Loyola Academy (near SLU’s campus) transforms into a magical holiday shopping experience for the 4th-8th grade boys that attend the school. During the event, the boys are paired with a SLUH mom to select and wrap gifts for their loved ones. Seeing the joy on these boys' faces as they experience the thrill of giving is such an amazing experience!

Bunco Night is a fun, casual evening designed to bring SLUH moms together to connect, laugh, and build community. This is a great way to meet other moms and learn about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. No experience is necessary -- Bunco is easy to learn and is a lot of fun!

Location: Mass -Danis Field House, Brunch following in Si Commons

Attendees: SLUH Mothers/Mother Figures & their SLUH Student(s)

Brunch Menu: Frittata, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, waffles, and donut holes. The cost is $29.50 per person with registration on a first-come, first-served basis. We will accept reservations through Monday, September 21, or when we reach capacity, whichever comes first.

This event celebrates the bond between SLUH students and their mothers (or mother figures). It begins with a Sunday Mass held in the Danis Field House, followed by brunch in the Si Commons. Brunch is open seating by class, and is buffet style.  Photographers will be available.

Purpose: Mother-Son Trivia is a fun and fast-paced evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and quality time between SLUH students and their moms (or mother figures). Teams work together to answer questions across a variety of categories—no trivia experience needed!

Purpose:  The Junior Ring Ceremony is a SLUH tradition that marks a student's transition to senior year. During this special event, juniors sign their class banner and then receive their class rings during a celebratory Mass. Following the ceremony, the Mothers Club hosts a cookie reception and refreshments for all junior families to enjoy together.

Purpose:   Mom Prom is an annual tradition that provides SLUH seniors and their moms (or mother figures) the chance to share a fun and memorable night on the dance floor. A delicious buffet dinner is served followed by great music, dancing, and a photo-worthy atmosphere. It’s a joyful evening filled with laughter and a chance for moms to celebrate with their sons prior to graduation.

Purpose:   Seniors take the stage to share laughs, memories, and light-hearted performances that reflect on their time at SLUH during Senior Follies. Following the ceremony, the Mothers Club hosts a cookie reception and refreshments for all seniors, their families, and guests to enjoy.
