MOTHER/SON LUNCH - OCTOBER 16, 2022
This event began in 2002. Sunday Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Si Commons, followed by lunch in the Danis Field House. Mass is led by Jesuits from SLUH, and the students and their moms assist with readings, music and Mass preparation. This is not a fund-raising event, and its cost is intended only to cover expenses.
The cost to attend the lunch is $35.00/per person; there is no charge to attend the Mass only, but we ask you to register if you are coming to either or both portions of the event. Click HERE to register.

You are invited to play Santa as we bring the excitement of Christmas shopping to the boys at Loyola Academy on December 2nd. Donations of new gifts for all ages are being accepted November 1-18.

The newly renamed Janet Knobbe-Viox Loyola Santa Shop is sponsored by the Mothers Club and the Alumni Mothers Club. Much of the success of this program comes from SLUH AMC President and past LSS Chairperson, Janet. She was deeply passionate about the mission at Loyola Academy through volunteering, tutoring and teaching robotics. Tragically, Janet suddenly passed away in mid-December 2020.
ADOPT-A-FAMILY - November 28 - december 9, 2022
Chair: Allison Amann firstname.lastname@example.org
The Adopt-A-Family Christmas Drive is sponsored by Campus Ministry and the Mothers Club. Volunteering for this project is a fun way to get involved at SLUH and get more out of the Christmas season by helping others. Please sign-up if you are interested. Below is a list of Adopt-A-Family volunteer activities still available.
- Parent Homeroom Class Representative - This person corresponds by email with the families in the homeroom about donations and encourages the boys to participate.
- Campus Ministry Collectors - Collect and organize donations.
- Cheerleaders - Attend morning drop-off, remind the families to bring the gifts to school and spread holiday cheer!
*** We need a parent to represent each advisory group and support the Mothers Club by sending email reminders to sign-up to donate and then reminders to bring in their donations. They are also encouraged to go into the classroom during advisory with incentives to donate (example, donuts). Finally, the parents will also help in the mornings to collect donations with Santa hats, candy and Christmas Carols. This all happens the week after Thanksgiving.
Contact email@example.com if you have any questions. Embrace the true spirit of Christmas by helping those in need. A sign-up will be posted soon.
