  • News

Senior Project: a 50-year-old St. Louis U. High tradition, a tradition that many seniors savor as they leave the halls of SLUH, a tradition that many remember for years after they depart, another tradition threatened by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rocky stretch drops soccer from undefeated to 5-5
  • Sports

The past two weeks for the St. Louis U. High soccer team were anything but ideal. Entering into a stretch of 6 games with a 4-0 record, the SoccerBills looked to continue their run of dominance. However a string of tough opponents on the road including Chaminade, St. Dominic, and De Smet quickly ended the Jr. Bills unbeaten season. Their first test on the road was MCC rival, Chaminade.

The ghost of Stephen's past

About three years ago, I was hunkered down in the Math Office late one evening, around midnight (why I was there that late is not important).  Nobody else had been in the school building for hours. Just me and the occasional spider that crept across the wall. Or so I believed. I was sitting at my old desk, where Mr. Hinders currently resides. It faces the west wall of the office, my back was turned to the big glass window of the Math office that showcases the middle hallway.

  • Opinion

I have been a member of St. Louis U. High’s delegation for the annual Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice conference since freshman year. I have been involved in the Teach-In for even longer, though, helping my dad, a professor at Saint Louis University, work with college students to prepare for it.
