Hundreds of thousands of people have descended upon Washington, D.C. every January for the past 49 years to stand up for the lives of the unborn in the annual March for Life. This year, 25 St. Louis U. High students and four adult chaperones joined together with 150,000 other pro-life advocates to voice their support for the rights of the unborn.

Admin adjusts booster policy: recommended, no longer required

Roarke Unrau and Charlie Dougherty, News Editor, reporter

Experiencing the first few weeks of 2022 with skyrocketing case numbers and quarantines had SLUH rethinking what the term “fully vaccinated” meant, and whether a person needed to be boostered to be considered as such. Two weeks ago, in his weekly Parent Connect, SLUH principal Ian Gibbons announced that, beginning March 21, a student would need to have a booster shot in order to be considered fully vaccinated. But as of a recent meeting, SLUH has decided to make changes only in the quarantine policy, and not the vaccine policy.

Senior Jack Figge offers thoughts on building a joyous community in light of the Pro-Life March
  • Opinion

Four days ago, I had left with my youth group to travel 15 hours on a bus to Washington D.C. for the March for Life, and to my disappointment that journey was coming to an end. I was confused, very confused: why did I not want to leave this cramped, smelly bus, and return to my home? Because I was surrounded by a community built on joy, and awaiting me on Monday was a community lacking joy.

Nance creates twitter page for Asian-American students
  • Features

When the senior project was announced, senior Alex Nance, knew exactly the group he would be advocating for: the underappreciated Pacific Islander/Asian American community at SLUH. Nance, after noticing a discreet, yet existing sense of underappreciation for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, chose to take a stand by way of his Grande Project.
